Poco, the performance-centric sub-brand of Xiaomi, has returned with a new contender in the mid-range segment: the Poco X6 Pro Review. Launched in India on January 9, 2024, the Poco X6 Pro promises to deliver flagship-level performance at an attractive price point. But does it live up to the hype? We’ve been putting the phone through its paces for the past few days, and here’s our verdict.
Poco X6 Pro: Design and Display
The Poco X6 Pro sports a sleek and modern design with a flat display and slim bezels. The back panel is made of plastic, but it feels sturdy and premium in hand. The phone comes in three attractive color options: Blue Noir, Cosmic Yellow, and Phantom Black. We particularly liked the Blue Noir variant, which has a subtle gradient finish that changes hues depending on the light.
The display is a 6.67-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. It’s bright, crisp, and offers excellent viewing angles. The high refresh rate makes scrolling and navigating the phone feel incredibly smooth, especially while gaming.

Poco X6 Pro: Performance
The Poco X6 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which is currently one of the most powerful processors on the market. It’s paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. This combination ensures that the phone can handle even the most demanding tasks with ease. We ran Geekbench 5 on the phone, and it scored an impressive 1150 in the single-core test and 3900 in the multi-core test. These scores are on par with some of the most expensive flagship phones on the market.
Gaming is a breeze on the Poco X6 Pro. We were able to play demanding titles like Asphalt 9: Legends and Call of Duty: Mobile at the highest settings without any frame drops or stuttering. The 2160Hz touch sampling rate also ensures that the phone responds to your inputs instantly, giving you a competitive edge in online games.
Poco X6 Pro: Camera
The Poco X6 Pro has a triple-lens rear camera system consisting of a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. The camera performance is good, but not great. Photos taken in daylight conditions are generally sharp and detailed, but they can sometimes lack in dynamic range. Low-light photos are also decent, but there is some noticeable noise. Overall, the camera is good enough for everyday use, but it won’t compete with the best cameras on the market.

The Poco X6 Pro is powered by a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. This combination ensures that the phone will easily last you a full day on a single charge, even with moderate usage. We were able to get around 7 hours of screen-on time with the phone, which is excellent. The fast charging also means that you can quickly top up the battery if you’re running low.

The phone has a beautiful OLED display, a powerful processor, long battery life, and a decent camera.
